We’re quickly approaching another full year around the sun as MARVEL Puzzle Quest ramps up our celebration plans for the 11th Anniversary on October 3rd! But before we share all the exciting events, rewards, promos, and activities we’ve got in store for the anniversary, let’s take a quick look at some of the big milestones that have been released in MPQ for this year.
We introduced another diverse ensemble of MARVEL characters ranging from Agatha Harkness all the way to fan favorite X-Men Nightcrawler who made his debut as the featured return of 2-Star characters. This tier hasn’t seen a new addition since Captain Marvel (Ms. Marvel) back in October of 2014 and we’re excited to add a few more additions in the future!
Seasonal Quests also quickly became a new favorite pastime for ISO-8 Hunters as we strategized new ways to complete these challenges to unlock exciting vault rewards like ascended covered characters.
Along with fully rolling out our Champs 2.0 feature that ascends all characters into 5-Star territory, we also ushered in Supports to PVP, which has resulted in some really interesting shifts with the competitive landscape of the game amongst our competitive scene.
Moving onto the start of our MARVEL Puzzle Quest 11th Anniversary celebrations, we’re excited to announce the newest slate of activities planned for the month so here’s what you can expect when things kick off in October!
NEW EVENT
QUANDARY MAKES A RETURN and brings with her some undead companions in an all new PVE Story Event! Test yourself every week as these waves of Zombies will get progressively more difficult, but the rewards will make your efforts worthwhile. Also be on the lookout for Quandary’s Puzzle Ops event and Daily Quandary Event Quests for ways to unlock rewards from her unique vault.
ANNIVERSARY PASS
A new LIMITED-TIME ANNIVERSARY PASS makes its introduction to reward players for joining in on the celebrations. By defeating event quests and the zombie menace invading MPQ, players earn Season XP (SXP) to climb the ranks of this new feature and earn covers, costumes, and much more!
ZOMBIE SLAYER COMMUNITY CHALLENGE
Band together with your fellow Iso-8 Hunters in our ZOMBIE SLAYER COMMUNITY CHALLENGE to defeat Quandary’s Zombies for rewards that everyone can sink their teeth into including a 3-Star Space Infinity Stone support, ascended covers, and the unlock of a brand new Raise from the Dead Rebalance Survey.

Along with exciting sales throughout the month, an MPQ anniversary wouldn’t be complete without big rewards and sweepstakes so here are some of the exciting rewards you’ll be able to earn during our month-long event.
LOGIN REWARDS
By firing up MPQ during the anniversary, all players will receive a cover for 2-Star Headpool (UndHead) & 3-Star Jubilee (Vampire).
WEEKLY FAN FAVORITE PICK-3s
Based on the votes cast in our 2024 Anniversary Fan Favorite Survey, we’ll be rolling out free covers through weekly Pick 3 choices in varying categories.
DOOP CODES
One of the most exciting features we released outside of the game this year was our Code Redemption website. We had a few codes out in the wild earlier this year, but we just got word that Doop is on the loose spreading some anniversary cheer across the MPQ universe so be on the lookout both in-game and across our social channels for upcoming redemption codes.
DOOP DECODER SWEEPSTAKES
Once you’ve uncovered and translated what Doop is trying to say with all of his clues, be sure to enter our Doop Decoder Sweepstakes for shards, covers and more.
